Benjamin John

Benjamin John is a writer. Currently paid to produce sports stories on deadline, he can't help being creative for free. Part of The Intangible Collective, he's authored several short stories, a few blogs, the odd play and a slew of poems. Some have even been published. At National Poetry Slam 2007 in Austin, Texas, he shared the "Spirit of the Slam" Award along with teammates on Oneonta's Black Oak Slam Team (and Knoxville's EquiSolKnox - So What?!) Your boy once attempted reinterpreting the Torah as a series of spoken-word poems, but the Books of Moses won that battle.

The kid's been collecting and connecting people since 1983.

His first chapbook, "Relationships I Might Have Had," is now available HERE.
