Dan Stalter

Dan is a member of the Intangible Collective hailing from the mean streets of Saratoga Springs, NY, where he first began reading poetry at the infamous Caffe Lena. As three-time competitor on the SUNY Oneonta Poetry Slam Team, he rounded out his experience with his team taking a fourth-place finish at the College Union Poetry Slam Invitational in 2008. He and that same group competed as the team Diction Your Mouth at the 2009 Soundbites Poetry Slam. He began a writing career in the third grade when he wrote a whole series of short books that took place on the planet Dogtopia. All of these books included self-written about-the-author pages, not unlike the one you're reading now.

Currently Dan is taking a step back from slam and focusing his creative energy on his first work of fiction.
